To order from The Ethel From AARP Store, you need an AARP.org account. Creating an account is free and AARP membership is not required.

Order Confirmation
You will receive two emails after placing your order:
- An order confirmation will arrive within 24 hours.
- A shipping confirmation from our warehouse. Orders typically ship within 3 business days after submission.

Order Details
Log in to your AARP.org account to view order details:
- Sign In: Click"Sign In" at the top of anypage and log into your account using your AARP password.
- Order Details: View orders in process or see past orders in your Order History. Click on an order for details.
- Order Details Page: See items, shipping address, method, and payment details.
- Shipment Summary: Check the status and tracking details for each package.

Order Tracking
You can check the status of your AARP Ethel orders by clicking on "Sign In" at the top of any page and signing in to your account. If an order is outstanding, you'll see its details. If you have more than one outstanding order, go to your Order History page, where you'll see orders from the lifetime of your account. From there, you can click on a specific order to see its details.
On the Order Details page, you'll see the items in the order listed as well as the shipping address, shipping method, and payment details. In the Shipment Summary, you'll see the current status and details from the shipping carrier's tracking service for each package.
Occasionally, we may send an order in multiple packages. In such cases, we'll provide tracking information for each and let you know which items you can expect in each one.
Registration
To order from the Ethel From AARP Store, you need an AARP.org account. Creating an account is free and AARP membership is not required.

What will you do with my information after I register?
You can manage your account information and privacy controls at secure.aarp.org/account.
Your personal information and order history are accessible only with your password. After logging in, you can edit or delete your information anytime from the Your Account page. For more information on our privacy policy, click here.
What if I forget my password?
No problem! You can click on the “Forgot your password?” while logging in, and you will be able to reset your password.

Payment Options
AARP Ethel Shop accepts the following credit cards:

For security purposes, please do not send cash or request CODs. In addition, please do not include your credit card number on any email communication.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be charged on total merchandise, including shipping & handling fees.
Charging your Credit Card
Upon receiving your order, we place a pre-authorization hold on funds in your account. We don't finalize the charge on your credit card until the date we ship your merchandise to you. Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. We are not responsible for typographical errors made by the customer.
Multiple Shipments
If your order is sent in multiple shipments (either to the same destination or to different ones), your credit card will be charged separately for each shipment.
Secure Ordering
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to secure your online order information. To check the security of your connection, look in the lower left-hand corner of your browser window for an "unbroken key" icon or a "closed padlock" icon (depending on your browser). If you see one of these icons, SSL is active. To double-check for security, see if the site address in your browser window has changed from "http" to "https" in the address or URL line.
Some browser versions and some firewalls do not permit connections with secure servers. If you experience this problem, please call the AARP Ethel at (800) 507-7007.
Order Verification
Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. We are not responsible for typographical errors made by the customer.
Shipping & Handling
Most purchases are shipped by UPS or USPS from our Maryland warehouse within 5 business days from receipt of order. Please note that we can only ship to PO Box addresses via USPS. We cannot ship Express Delivery to U.S. territories, Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO or PO Box addresses. Please call Customer Service at (800) 507-7007 for shipping rates outside of contiguous 48 states or check your shipping inside the shopping cart during checkout.
For shipping to U.S. Military Bases
Please contact us via email or telephone to place your order. This order will ship via USPS unless otherwise requested.Express Delivery
We are able to expedite orders for an additional charge, please call (800) 507-7007.
Express shipping via UPS or USPS can be calculated via a real-time shipping estimator prior to check out in the cart.
For express delivery, orders must be received Monday through Friday by 11 am ET.
We do not offer overnight delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, or to PO boxes. For shipments to Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Alaska, Hawaii, or APO addresses, our standard is First Class mail through the United States Postal Service.
Shipping Address Options
Packages can be sent to the same address as your billing address or to another address. If registered, you can choose an address from your account by signing in before checkout. You can manage your account information and privacy controls at secure.aarp.org/account.
Coupon Codes
If you used a coupon code to make your purchase, we can exchange the item for the same style in a different size or color. If exchanging for a different item, your credit will apply to the new item at its current price. A previously used coupon code cannot be applied to a different item.
Gift Options
To send an item as a gift, check the “Are there gift items in the order?” box on the shipping page, then click “Continue to checkout” to access gift options.
Personal Message & Gift Receipt
Add a personal message to the packing slip at no extra charge and include a gift receipt too (prices will be removed).
Promotional Codes
Apply promotional codes in the submission box below the product list on the shopping cart page during checkout. You will be notified there if the code is valid and shown its balance or impact on your purchase. Please call us for any assistance with promo codes.
Please note:
- Only one promotional code per order.
- Promotional discounts apply only to the total merchandise, not shipping, handling fees, or taxes unless stated otherwise.
Gift Card Terms & Conditions
This gift card is redeemable exclusively at The Ethel Store.
- No Fees or Expiration: This card carries no expiration date and is free of maintenance or dormancy fees.
- Limitations: Not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. Not a credit or debit card.
- Final Sale: All gift card purchases are final. Cards cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Lost or Stolen Cards: Please safeguard your gift card. It will not be replaced or replenished if used without your authorization. A replacement card for remaining value is only available with original proof of purchase.
- Issuer Information: The card is issued by APISOURCE, which is the sole obligor to the cardholder. APISOURCE may delegate its issuer obligations to another party without recourse; in such cases, the designated assignee becomes the sole obligor to the cardholder.
- Acceptance of Terms: Purchase, use, or acceptance of this card constitutes acceptance of these terms.

How to Place an Order and Use a Gift Certificate on The Ethel Store
1. Browse the Store
- Visit https://store.aarpethel.com.
- Browse through available products and select the items you wish to purchase.
- Click on a product to view details, then select any applicable options (e.g., size, quantity) and click “Add to Cart.”
- When you're ready to check out, click the shopping cart icon at the top right corner of the website.
- Review your order and make any necessary adjustments (e.g., quantity updates or item removals).
- Click the “Checkout” button to proceed.
- On the checkout page, enter your:
- - Email address
- - Shipping address
- - Phone number (if requested)
- Click “Continue to Shipping” and select your shipping method.
- Click “Continue to Payment.”
- On the Payment page, you’ll see a field labeled "Gift card or discount code."
- Enter your digital gift certificate code exactly as it appears (case-sensitive).
- Click “Apply.”
- The gift amount will be deducted from your total. If there is any remaining balance, you can complete the purchase using a credit/debit card or other available payment method.
- Review your billing information and order summary.
- Click “Pay Now” (or equivalent final button) to complete your purchase.
